Accessibility
We want every patient to be able to book, chat, check in, fill in forms and see their appointments without barriers. Our target for these patient-facing pages is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Where things stand
Online booking, web chat, the check-in kiosk, the patient portal sign-in page, the contact form, intake forms and appointment links are checked automatically for WCAG 2.1 A and AA problems each time our code changes, and a change that introduces one is blocked. Automated checks find only part of what WCAG asks. Testing with screen readers, keyboard-only use and zoom has not been completed yet, and no independent audit has been done, so we do not yet claim full conformance.
Known limitations
- Manual testing with assistive technology is still to be done on every page.
- The signed-in patient portal pages are not yet covered by the automated checks.
- Text your clinic writes (for example service descriptions) is in their own words.
- Payment pages are provided by Stripe and follow Stripe's own accessibility work.
Need help or found a problem?
If something stops you booking or using a page, contact your clinic directly so they can help straight away, and please tell us through our contact page so we can fix it.
A conformance report (VPAT/ACR) is being prepared. Last reviewed: October 2026.
